This is MAG MELL, a traditional celtic/black metal band from Minnesota.

Since its conception, the lineup has consisted of only myself (Séaghdha Aodhán) on electric guitars, classical guitar, electric bass, bouzouki, irish flute, tin whistle, uilleann bagpipes, fiddle, and bodhran, though new members would certainly be welcomed if they have anything to offer either musically or logistically (playing shows!) A drummer would be a very welcome addition.

Some news:
(03/29/09) I will in Germany for the Ragnarök festival in a couple of weeks, so I'll be unable to respond to any e-mail inquiries for a short while. However, if anyone happens to be in Germany for the same purpose, mead and/or beer inquiries may still be made.

(03/20/09) Mag Mell has participated in a Summoning Tribute organized by Zerivana. A note was posted last week specifying a release date of around June. The contributed track was 'Between Light and Darkness', one of my favorite songs from Lugburz. More information on the Summoning Tribute can be viewed here.
